The Sturgis Gathering Market thrives thanks to the helping hands and generous hearts of community volunteers. Whether you’re passionate about local food, music, education, or just love connecting with people, there’s a role for you. Come help us build something beautiful for our town — one Friday at a time!
What Volunteers Do
- Welcome and guide market guests
- Assist with setup and takedown
- Help vendors unload or reload
- Support musicians, educators, and kids’ activities
- Answer questions and share market info
- Keep the market area clean and cheerful
Who Can Volunteer?
Everyone is welcome! We encourage:
- Students looking for service hours
- Retirees and seniors
- Families (kids can help with supervision)
- Community-minded individuals
When and Where?
- Fridays (July 11–Sept 26, 2025) except for August 1 & 8 (Sturgis Rally break)
- Setup starts at 2:00 PM
- Market runs from 4:00–7:00 PM
- Takedown wraps up by 7:30 PM
